Crunchy, golden Chicken-based Sambousek. An easy-to-make, hard-to-forget starter you must try now.

Ingredients

  • 20-30 Kiri squares
  • 4 diced onions
  • ¼ cup sumac
  • 2 tbsp garlic paste
  • 250 g pulled chicken (cooked)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts
  • 1 pack / 500 g Kullaj pastry

Cooking steps

  1. Drizzle olive oil in a pan
  2. Cook diced onions
  3. Sprinkle Sumac
  4. Add cooked chicken
  5. Add pine nuts
  6. Transfer mix to a bowl
  7. Mix in Kiri squares
  8. Brush Kullaj sheet with olive oil and sumac
  9. Top with second sheet and repeat
  10. Add a spoonful of the chicken Kiri mix
  11. Fold the dough into a sambousa rectangular shape
  12. Seal with egg wash
  13. Drizzle with olive oil
  14. Air fry until golden
