Creamy Chicken with Rice Recipe

Ingredients
  • 500g chicken breast (cut into small cubes)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves mashed garlic
  • 1 cup Kiri creamy spread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • A pinch of paprika
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • A pinch of nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups rice
  • 3 cups water
  • Toasted almonds or pine nuts for garnish
  • A little chopped parsley for garnish

Preparation Method
  1. Wash the rice well until the water runs clear, then drain it.
  2. Place chicken cubes in a bowl, season with salt, pepper, turmeric, and nutmeg. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Cook rice in 3 cups of water with a pinch of salt for about 15 minutes on low heat, then set aside.
  4. Heat butter in a skillet, sauté onions until soft, then add garlic.
  5. Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
  6. Add Kiri creamy spread and mix well. Add a little water if needed for desired consistency.
  7. Simmer on low heat for 8 minutes.
  8. Serve over rice and garnish with toasted nuts and parsley.
