Kiri Apple Cinnamon Trifles
Enjoy wholesome layers of cinnamon apples, Kiri cream cheese, crunchy granola, and date caramel drizzle — your guilt-free Ramadan dessert, that you can indulge in without compromising on health.
Ingredients
For the Cinnamon Apples:
- 3 green apples, peeled and diced
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 tbsp packed brown sugar
For the Cinnamon Whipped Kiri and Granola:
- Kiri Square Portions
- ½ cup whipped cream
- ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup cinnamon granola (store-bought or homemade)
For the Date Caramel:
- 1½ cups Medjool dates (about 15 large dates), pitted
- ½ cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon

Cooking steps
Prepare the Cinnamon Apples:
- In a saucepan, cook apples with lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon, and brown sugar over medium heat until soft. Let cool.
Make the Cinnamon Whipped Kiri:
- Blend Kiri Square Portions, whipped cream, honey (or maple syrup), and cinnamon until smooth and creamy.
Prepare the Date Caramel:
- In a blender, combine dates, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Blend until creamy and smooth.
Assemble the Dessert:
- In serving glasses, layer cinnamon apples, Kiri whipped cream, and granola.
