Ingredients

Tart ingredients:

  • 4 Kiri squares
  • 1 cup semolina flour
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Filling:

  • 12 Kiri squares
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp pistachio

Cooking steps

  1. Mix Kiri cheese, semolina flour, butter, baking powder, coconut flakes, sugar, egg, vanilla extract
  2. Cover bottom of pan and refrigerate
  3. boil sugar and milk in a saucepan
  4. Add corn starch
  5. When thick, let cool for 3 minutes
  6. Mix in Kiri and vanilla
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes
  8. Pour over tart base
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 180°
  10. Garnish with slivered pistachio
